Bridge to College (Dual Enrollment)

Victory University’s Bridge to College program provides the opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to get a “jump start” on college. Students can earn up to 24 college credits by the time of high school graduation.

Criteria:

  • High school junior or senior
  • 2.75 GPA
  • ACT score report required for English, Math & Science courses only; English sub-score of 18, Mathematics sub-score of 19, Science sub-score of 19
  • Recommendation form from current high school counselor

What do I need to get started?

For New Students
  • A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 (This fee may be waived if an agreement is in place with your school district)
  • Bridge to College Application Package
  • Bridge to College Health Forms
  • Official High School Transcript (must be current, signed, and have the school’s seal)
  • Additional information as requested by the office of Pre-Collegiate Initiatives & Alumni Development
  •  Tennessee residents must complete the TN Dual Enrollment Grant application online, for each semester, prior to the deadline
  • Non-Tennessee residents are required to pay $300 for tuition and fees
 For Returning Students
  • Official High School Transcript (must be current, signed, and have the school’s seal)
  • Completed Bridge to College Permission form
  • Tennessee residents must complete the TN Dual Enrollment Grant application online, for each semester, prior to the deadline
  • Non-Tennessee residents are required to pay $300 for tuition and fees

Victory University’s Bridge to College Scholarship

The VU Bridge to College Scholarship is available to cover the remaining balance of tuition after payments have been applied from the TN Dual Enrollment Grant (up to $300 for a 3 credit hour course) or by other private funding. This scholarship can pay up to $910.00, per three-credit hour course.

Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant Program

Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation administers the Tennessee Dual Enrollment Grant Program. This program provides some additional financial assistance to high school students wanting to take college courses before high school graduation.

Deadlines:  September 15 for fall enrollment, February 1 for spring, or May 1 for summer enrollment.

What scholarships are available for incoming freshmen that have successfully completed courses through the Bridge to College program?
Bridge to College Honors Scholarship

This scholarship is a collaboration between the Bridge to College program and the Trinity Scholars Honors program. Victory University will award competitive scholarships to incoming freshmen that have successfully completed six (6) credit hours, with a 3.5GPA or higher, in the VU Bridge to College program.  This is a full four-year scholarship that covers all tuition and fees. The student must enroll in the VU Trinity Scholars Honors program and must remain in good standing with the program. This scholarship is renewable for up to four (4) academic years.
