Counseling Services Offered to VU Students and Staff
1. What is counseling at Victory all about?
Victory University is proud to introduce campus sponsored counseling services for students and staff. Some of the concerns that can be addressed by the counseling staff are:
- Test anxiety and Stress Management
- General Anxiety and fear
- Depression
- Family concerns
- Relationship concerns
- Addictions
- Spirituality
- And more…
2. Who benefits from counseling?
Everyone can benefit from counseling from time to time; especially when things get difficult. You may need counseling if the problem you are experiencing at school, work, home, and/or in your personal life are causing you to not be able to function as you normally would.
3. Why go to counseling?
There are two missions in providing counseling services at Victory. The first is to provide a safe environment for the student body and staff to confidentially work through their problems; hoping to reach a positive outcome when the counseling relationship has ended. Secondly, the counseling services at VU provide invaluable practicum and internship training to graduate students in Victory University’s counseling program, which prepares the graduate student counselors to be licensed as professional counselors.
4. Where is counseling done?
Counseling will be offered in room B-214 at the VU campus (by appointment only).
5. When is counseling available?
Counseling services are offered at various times throughout the week. To schedule an appointment for counseling, please contact Marc McClure at counseling@victory.edu for availability. You may also reach Mr. McClure by phone at 901-320-9700 ext. 2007.
6. How much does counseling cost at Victory University?

Victory University has a new commercial on the air starring one of our own student athletes. Starting this week, there is a new TV commercial showing in the Memphis market. The commercial “stars” Victory University and one of our current students, Taylor Hensley.
Taylor is a Trinity Scholars Honors student and also a Volleyball player. As you may remember, the volleyball team just went 3-0 this weekend in their inaugural games for Victory.
So, over the next month, tune in to WREG Channel 3 to view the commercial. There will be quite a few airings over the next month on Channel 3 and its affiliate networks throughout the month.

VU Eagles Volleyball Team
August 31st, 2012 by admin

Please join us in cheering for and supporting our Victory University Eagles Women’s Volleyball team as they take the first of many historic steps by playing our first game. This weekend, they will in fact be playing three games at the Stillman Lady Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Our Eagles will be playing the first game on Saturday, September 1st, against Stillman. They again play in the tournament later that day at 5 against Miles College. They play one more game on Sunday, September 2nd, against Concordia College.
Head Coach Crystal Hudson has worked these girls extremely hard in practice, as evidenced by these student athletes walking throughout the campus wearing icepacks along with their books.
Click here to learn more about the girls on the team and how you can cheer them on to Victory.
You can find updates to the scores on our athletics website as well as on our Facebook site.
Good luck Eagles!
