Welcome to Moodle
Victory University would like to introduce you to our new learning management system (LMS), Moodle. Starting this summer, many of online courses will be offered in the Moodle classrooms. We hope to have all of our online courses offered in Moodle classrooms by the fall. Moodle will take the place of Next Generation Learning (NGL) our current LMS, but in an effort to ensure a smooth transition, we will start with the online courses this summer.

What is Moodle?
Moodle is an Open Source Course Management System, also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment. It has become very popular among educators around the world as a tool for creating online dynamic classroom environments for online students.
How is Moodle different from NGL?
Moodle is a more established virtual learning platform than Next Generation Learning. In addition to increased speed and a variety of intuitive features in the classroom, Moodle offers students a user-friendly learning environment. To use Moodle, you only need the basic web browsing skills. To become familiar with it, you may need a little more knowledge, but guidance will be provided.
