Student Organizations & Activities

Student Organizations

Numerous activities and organizations are available on the Victory campus in order to enrich the educational experiences of students and provide opportunities for developing leadership skills. These reflect a broad spectrum of interests which are representative of the Victory student body. All students are encouraged to become involved in one of these areas which dramatically add to the breadth of the University experience.

Teacher Education Association (STEA)

Here at Victory University we encourage our students in education to join the STEA. STEA stands for Student Teacher Education Association. It is closely related to the Memphis (MEA), Shelby County (SCEA), Tennessee (TEA), and National Education Association (NEA). Each student member receives a million dollar liability policy, free Praxis I and II workshops, as well as an opportunity to network with other student educators and professional educators within the organization. The members also receive a chance to receive grant and scholarship money for becoming student leaders.

Student Government Association (SGA)

The Mission of the Victory University Student Government Association is to actively voice the opinions and concerns of the student body. We uphold the right to impart strong executive and legislative branches to effectively govern and support students, organizations, and the greater campus community. We encourage distinction, reputation, and Godly character by providing opportunities to develop leadership qualities and being always ready to serve our community. The Student Government Association recognizes and protects the rights of students, insists upon academic responsibility and excellence, and cultivates an environment which fuels students to take active roles in the University community. Students who wish to serve in SGA are elected to their positions. Opportunities for service are available in both the Student Senate and the Executive Cabinet.
