Student Success Center
The Student Success Center (SSC) exists to enhance the University’s educational programs by providing resources and educational support for students through coordination of a wide range of programs and services in the areas of assessment/testing, tutoring, learning labs, and developmental studies. The SSC aims to support the integration of faith and learning for students and faculty at a Christian liberal arts college in a distinctly urban setting.
We exist to give students of all educational backgrounds help outside the classroom that will enable them to complete their college education successfully. The SSC staff works to accomplish this task through a variety of services:
- Writing, math, and reading labs,
- Educational counseling,
- The Student Success Workshop Series, and
- Assistance for students with disabilities.
A testing center is an integral part of the SSC and provides testing facilities for DSST, CLEP, ACT, COMPASS, the Victory Writing Proficiency Exam, and Senior Assessment exams.
How we can help you: Need a tutor or a great place to study? Are you enrolled in Learn courses or do you need help identifying your strengths with a placement test? The SSC is here to help.
